     Post subject:Ferrous moon LAN

    Hi all , i have played Uplink like 10 years ago and realy enjoyed the game .. now i saw there is Onlink and i decided to play it v0.2.5 ... but i stuck with the mission Ferrous moon lan ...
    there are servers
    Gateway
    access control system
    2 lifting servers
    backup server
    central mainframe
    internal service machine

    the only server i got any access to use any software is access control system

    so i stuck ...
    so i connect to access control system and upload the data i need to use for my next bounce ... after disconnect data is gone ...
    i thought if i use denial on the system maybe the system wont delete my uploaded files ... when i try to enter console there is VSEK v3.0 and i can't pass it ... actually i pass it only once but that time i havent uploaded files i need ...

    So my question is am i on right path for complete the mission ?
    1. Denial Access control system
    2. Connect to lifting servers and destroy them
    3. Connect to gateway and destroy it ( denial or delete sys filles )
    4. Connect to central mainframe to get VPN key
    5. connect LAN

    you were right about data upload on acl. you just need to validate it through the console.

    I do not know where to report bug here, and how the supposed bug is related to this validation leave a comment here.

    this is not possible to validate items that contain "delete" as to try all files are deleted.
    File_Deleter
    Log_Deleter
    Log_UnDeleter


    One suggestion for this type of mission:
    in real life when accessing a server the attacker will not copy files one by one, use a self-extracting zip with autoexec script at least for routine tasks.

    So it would be interesting player mount your package to be inserted 1 once on the server.

    Note: I know this elaborate code to run in the game is quite complicated, it's just a suggestion.

    How I was stupid !!! I was validating programs one by one "run program" the help in ACS brings the tip that is different from other systems.
