Probably a relatively small fix, but it would be nice if the Windows/Super key opened the "Start" menu in Onlink. Makes it that much quicker to reach programs ;)

Doesn't hitting the Windows key, regardless of whatever app you're using, open up the Windows Start menu? Doesn't that kind of... I don't know, disrupt any fullscreen applications?

Additionally, isn't the Windows key kind of mapped specifically to open the Windows Start menu?

(I wouldn't know, I don't mess with keybindings on a regular basis.)

You can hook the Windows key. The only key combination that's impossible to hook is Control+Alt+Delete.

Breakthrough of the century - we can now install spyware inside our hardware. Gotta love apple's versatility ;P

I suppose there's some Cmd+something shortcut?

Well, the Windows key will seem lame compared to what we have planned.

Gosh, I do hope you deliver a tutorial or guide book with all your awsome ideas that you include to onlink. :D

If it's not Surface, Siftables or Sixth-Sense, it'll seem lame. Lol.

And for God's sake: Context menus.

Well, it is probably on par with all those links you posted. But we're not even sure if we're going to run with it yet or not.

I suppose the main issue is that we're 20 years on, and still using mice and keyboards to interact with our computers. Everything I linked to is an entirely new take - and I'm willing to bet you're not gonna bundle hardware with your downloads ;)

Still. Predictive contextual makes it boring, the start menu is clunky and I don't think too many people would appreciate an all-commandline approach. So either way, I'm curious to see what it is you come up with.

well, I might be tripping a little here, but could there be an actual option of movement interface using the webcam? 'cause, you know, if you guys are still planning to include Darwinia commands, it would be awesome to do them with hand gestures!

hey, do you guys plan on doing a holographic interface?
Would be nice to actually dive into that virtual world and experience it first hand with your senses.
Do you consider using simulated feeling via sound interference or did you solve producing force fields yet? Would be cool to actually feel, what I'm virtually touching.

And how about a neural interface or sort of neural scanner so I only have to think what I would like to do.

But to be modest, if you would just deliver a Holodeck with it that would be awesome, thanks.

In all honesty, I was experimenting with this idea about a year and a half ago.

The short version: Unfeasible without selling a hardware piece to go with it. I'll be experimenting with other things later though. You know, when I have nothing else to do. Anything beyond, say, sweeping your palm across the webcam probably is, again, unfeasible.

Don't get your hopes up.

Oh, I sure will, even if that takes another decade, it's not like I'm quitting this game in the long run anyway

Btw, been far for too long, it was quite a surprise to see you guys changed the name... but makes sense since you are encoding something completely different now, huh! But maybe a name a bit more connected to the onlink world itself?... (nah, what the hell am I talking about, you're Miah, you certainly HAVE a reason to use this name... especially since THAT thing I saw the other day...)

Cerberus is just a code name, not necessarily the final name.
