I would like to see a version of Onlink that workes on Mac OS 10.3.9 as well as the newer systems.

The reasons for this is mainly that all I have is that OS and I would like to play Onlink (it looks really good).

Please respond with: Yes we'll do that, or No we won't/can't do that...

Upgrading would be a good move.

I vote "no". We don't have machines that actually run 10.3.9, so we can't test compatibility at all.

Ummm... have you read the apple docs as long as you don't use features in 10.4 or later (that are specific to 10.5 10.6 and 10.4 then you should be fine with compatibility to 10.3.9. But then there is the way to uild which could get kinda messed up unless you use xcode. (at least this is all true in theory. but you might need to use xcode to compile as the 10.3.9 sdk )

Thus the "test compatibility." They can build it but have no way to test it.

Actually, I can't build it at all. 10.6 doesn't have a 10.3 SDK. Probably because the most current version of 10.3 is four years old.

    Upgrade.

I have 10.5 :) with the sdk. another reason for me to join the dev team :) (just kidding about another reason) but I actually have a 10.3 sdk and would build it as it. but anywasy 10.3 is sooooooooo out of date. why don't you upgrade to 10.5 or 10.6? (10.6 you need apple id with premium membership it is free now if you sign up for the 499 cost :) ).

Ok thanks for all the replys but I don't have the money nor does my family to upgrade to a newer OS. So that is kind of out for me. And as for testing I would be more than happy to test anything you guys do and if I can get the stuff required build it myself anyways. So there are always plenty of options. The main reason I want an OS 10.3.9 build is because I have that system and Uplink runs on that system...

You can get a copy of 10.4 Tiger for less than $15.
Looking at the completed listings, there have even been some that sold for $5.
I'm pretty sure your family has $5.
