We're now releasing what we expect to be the last alpha-7 revision before we introduce alpha-8. I've worked to make sure that you don't need to restart a new profile, and that all bug fixes in this build are visible to profiles from the prior version.

For Windows users, you can just run Onlink Update and select the 'Beta' distribution, per usual.

For Mac users, we have a build for you as well. This build might crash immediately for you. If that's the case, simply install the CHUD framework and you should be good to go. You may or may not require a restart. This is a once-required installation.

And for Linux users, there's a build for you as well.

Please report any issues you have with these.

Please also note that I'm trying to be available more, so I've been frequenting the IRC channel. Come and say hello sometime.

irc.2600.net channel #onlink

Whenever I open the mac build link, I get a 403: Forbidden error.

Would it be helpful to set the in-game IRC so that it automatically points to the IRC given above? It currently doesn't.

You're quite right, it's currently set by default to go to an IRC server we no longer have running.

I'll fix this for 0.2.0-a8.

And I'll fix it for a7.

No lie. I need a new a7 build.

Please note that IRC server settings are in the options, not the user profile. Change it once and it should be file for a while.

Why do we need another a7 build? I thought we were focusing on a8?

I goofed the versioning. r45 is actually the newest.

I have no clue how I came up with r46 on that one.

Why is it still necessary to license Uplink for the Mac version of Onlink?
Didn't you want to talk to Ambrosia because of the trial restrictions?
