First idea What about creating our own servers in uplink?Creating and modifying our own access terminals , Internal Services Machine and storing some of our data on our own file server will make the game much more funny(I think...) Paying 100 cr or 150 cr per 1 gigaquad of space to widen our file server will add reality to the game. Second idea I am getting bored with these limited gateways, cpu's,rams, modems. How about adding some more hardwares for uplink?Or we can create our own hardwares in the future?Like paying 750 cr per 10 ghz of a cpu and creating a 250 ghz cpu for 18750 cr...(this idea is for creating gateways, rams, memories and modems too.) I hope you will make these changes to the game soon. |

ready for criticism? Your first idea: Nice idea, but kinda useless. second idea: what hardware does it lack? we don't need more gateways, the mod gateways you download are always too over powered n make the game too easy. problem with easy uplink is it gets boring VERY QUICK. you ever buy a game open up a games mag for the cheats then complete the game in a night? dude when i use to do that it killed all game play for me. I may as well of rented or borrowed it. Problem is if you make a game to easy then there is no challenge. hey if hacking a bank was like Uplink, the world we live in would be completely fucked. |

1: They already have Aux. Servers to store files on that you can manage. 2: In the older Onlink versions (before the rewrite), there was additional hardware, and Miah and Tycho plan on adding it back in (or is this not what you meant?) |
