well, for those of you that don't know what it is, it is a program that can compress executables, add a loader in the start of the program that de-compress it in memory as fast as its executed, and can even boost the performance (speed) of some programs.

    quote from the homesite (http://upx.sourceforge.net/)
    Quote:
UPX is a free, portable, extendable, high-performance executable packer for several different executable formats. It achieves an excellent compression ratio and offers very fast decompression. Your executables suffer no memory overhead or other drawbacks because of in-place decompression.

so... why not add this program to Onlink? compress executables :D

(the existing "compressor" can only compress FILES, not programs)

So you can store more programs in your memory than you can now, not seeing why this should be necessary, because one can get enough memory to have all important programs and still have enough room left for every random mission.

Plus you could put the Aux. Gateway to some use.

Would be awesome if I installed software on the Aux, I could actually use it on my main gateway.

If you use a Trinity, there's not enough space for a 110-gq theft mission + the voices of everyone in the game + all the executables.

I was going to do this later. But it won't be free; it'll take a hit on your CPU.
