Post subject:  i misses some things when i changed from "Simply Uplink
well, i have completed the game completely 2 times on Simply Uplink, so i changed to Onlink (haven't came far yet thought)

anyway, i Really misses the Auto Boucher and the Map Filter......... and the log nuker


any chance those ever come into Onlink?

It's not unlikely. Describe the map filter? The auto-bouncer makes sense (creates bounces to a given target, no?), and so does the log nuker (kills all logs instead of one at a time).

Map filter searches machines on the map by name, allowing you to only see certain machines.

Autobounce, I'm not sure about, but I believe it creates a bounce path.

Ooh. An autobounce program would be great for those of us who use every telephone in the world as part of our paths. (Thankyou, whoever it was, that decided to add the Telephone Database back into the game.)

PS. Oh, and listing the bank IP next to the account number on the "Finance" screen would also be nifty for bankhackists.

AJ_Letson is right about the map filter

btw FinalWarrior i allways use evry single Public Access servers and Access terminals to bounch (and ofc, hide them from map, so they are not visible when im trying to find the computer i wanna connect to, then just press load, really keeps the map clean :) )




And in oter news, i made a short movie "the best of Simply Uplink"

i used MS-Scram1, a codex that is loss-free, and no compression at all, but gives SUPER-compression rate with a 3'rd party tool (in this case, Winrar)
its 4 MB WinRar compressed, see it in Full Screen mode.

The name doesn't tip you off? It automatically creates a bounce path through every link you have.

its there, ya we really need to have map filter and the stock buying upgrades so we can buy 100, or 1000, or even 10k stocks at 1 time. Good for the high end investors, lol :)

Better yet, allow the users to enter how many stocks they wish to purchase.
