I just realised it would be great to be able to use the scrollwheel of the mouse to zoom in and out when the world map is open. Now we need to use the very uncomfortable zooming controls that came with uplink. A minor point, but still an idea for the future. |

hehe know i would love to see a real advanced world map, a 3D globe. The globe would rotate around kinda like a google earth thing, and pings would bounce up hit a 3D satalite and bounce down. ^___^ but not for Onlink/Uplink. Simple is sucsessful, Nintendo Wii will always trumph over evil sony/microsoft. |

*Cough*Fanboy.*Cough* It's not about the consoles, it's about the games. And with AC6, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and GTA4 all coming out in about three months... 360 has some killer games. I mean, I'd play my Wii more... if I had more games than WiiSports and LoZ: TP. But that's neither here nor there. I agree about the wheel-zoom thingus; that'd be nifty for those of us who have a bazillion and five links. -- Griffinhart |

I ain't a fanboy, I don't even own a nexgen console. last console i bought was a dreamcast And i still play it from time to time. just saying the simple ideas are the most successful. with the cost of the Xbox n PS3 beein so high, it's no wonder the Wii is makking such large profits with 3 sold to ever Xbox 360 and i think it was 8 to ever PS3 |

"Heated"? Man, if that's heated, I'm scared to see what a flamewar would look like around here... >_>;; Also, another idea for the world map: trans-Pacific connections. It's odd when you make a bounce across the entire Nort American continent + the Atlantic Ocean + Europe and half of Russia when a bounce across the Pacific would be much shorter and less map-clogging. -- Griffinhart |
