one thing i disliked in uplink was boring hacking i mean the most exciting things were like deciphering
like in the uplink bank and and searching databases.
so can't we have things like random scrolling text and numbers and the stuff you see in movies?
like matrix style things and plain text hacking?

(sorry if this has been posted before)

IF you want that, than Street Hacker is the game to look for (if you want Console Based hacking) other than that, I don't see it happening anytime soon to alter the way Uplink does it's hacking.

We're trying to add a lot of stuff, not change them (well not to an extreme level)

But... how would random scrolling text help? It'd just clutter up the screen and make hacking even more difficult.

I guess I just don't understand how one makes hacking "exciting", except in a persistent multiplayer atmosphere, and Uplink/Onlink probably won't be getting that in the near future. I mean, hacking is... well, it's definitly not running about with a gun and blasting away helldemons.
