I think a like separator would be nice when you have like 100 links and you want like all the uplink links at the top, there should be an auto sort by company
  • Example.
    UPLINK
    -----------------------------------------------
    Uplink Test Machine

    blah
    Optical Research

    Blah

Or maybe a mouseover submenu structure per company, like:

Uplink -> Uplink Test Machine Uplink Internal Services Machine ARC -> ARC public access terminal
etc.

I think the sub-menu is better, it looks more organized and when you have a lot of links they can fit on one screen.

I was about to post a suggestion like this until I searched and found this.

Mine was basically instead of a list of all the links, there would be buttons for each group/company.

dont consider it as forgotten... it's most likely already been considered, and ditched or put in some todo list.
