We should add a security system that can kill the b**terds that are digging through you gateway. 1. Automatic Machine gun (expensive rounds [requires 24 hours to install ammo])* 2. Optical targeting system (inexpensive tracking system for automatic machine gun)* 3. 2D Space Laser grid system (track movement to increase accuracy's of the automatic machine gun)* 4. 3D space laser grid system (track movement to maximize accuracy's of the automatic machine gun)* 5. High powered laser (does not require ammo) 6. High grade gateway armor plating (Blow up explosive with out your gateway destroyed in the explosion[triggered by remote trigger,laser grid system, or optical targeting system) 7. Ultrasonic explosive trigger (Just in case the optical targeting system and laser grid system malfunctions, this will detect movement and trigger the explosives) 8. High powered shock wave (High pressure shock wave at 230 DB or above will instantly kill a human [triggerd by optical targeting system, remote trigger, or laser grid system]) 9. Heat signature explosives trigger (If part of the picture the thermal camera is hotter then the initial picture this will trigger the explosives) * though the 3D laser grid system is extreamly accurate combined with the optical system it may run out of amo before killing the feds - The automatic machine gun will trigger the explosives if the feds get to your gateway. So guys what do you think? |

I like the idea but i think that we should be able to hack peoples gateways and set these systems off. |

We already have a gateway defense system (self destruct) don't we? Additionally, if you mean killing the FBI agents that come to seize your gateway, one would think the FBI would get a bit suspicious and send in quite a few more people to seize your gateway, probably armed with EMP grenades (this is set in the future after all) that would disable your sentry gun and what have you. But I'm getting off topic. The point is, these defenses could only serve to delay, not cancel, a physical attack on your gateway. |

The problem with the self destructs is that it kills your gateway i want a way to keep the gateway alive while killing the feds. The armor plating is i believe the best choice... And if they have EMP grenades they can disable the bombs trigger mechanism. Thus all of the security will not work. |

I am clueless of what you meant. But what I am saying is that if the feds had EMP grenades all possible electronic trigger systems/systems is no longer an option unless we have a way of shielding against EMP which is possible. |

I mean in the way that the agents storm your gateway and you will try to back up the gateways systems (to a secure location or whatever) before the FBI agents get to your gateway. |

You mean that if you detect that they have attempted to seize your gateway you will then arm all of the systems.. backup... blowup your gateway? OR paying uplink corp to move your gateway to a safe location that will be undocumented? |

Exactly, you have until the guns have run out and the other systems have failed to back up your gateway and blow the memory. (Thus escaping) |

Then maybe possibly the FBI will come back with there new technology and kill you lol Or we can plant bomb only on the data banks when the systems detect the fbi it will trigger the bombs and then check if the data banks is still there thus you will lose all your data but still have your gateway
