Here are a few ideas of mini-missions that I have in mind:

1) Respond to a hacking forum and modify the appearance of a site, or anything to amuse or wow the heck out of these "amateurs." (hehe)

2) (Real life example) Enter a hacking contest, in which you try to enter a server with whatever you can think of. You'll be racing against other people and you can see their progress in something that looks like an RSS feed ("Contestant Burningmace is accessing Dummy Server 3!"). Cash prize if you win.

3) Enter a random forum, and start a spam fest while the admin tries to figure out what's going on. If you lose, you just get kicked off the site. If you win, you get angry emails from people and you get to see the forum "dominated."

1) and 3) : I don't really care about ego boosting ownage thing so my opinion remain neutral about it.

2) : with good design it might be fun.
