Kethlar: You are on warning. Next time you have an outburst like this (I'm seeing a lot here), I'm going to tempban you for a month.
You need to remember that Uplink/Onlink is fiction. It doesn't need to make sense. An example: VDPIN. Sure, there are PIN systems, but none of them work in a "lights-out" fashion.
Additionally, bear in mind that while some people here may appear to be dolts, you end up coming off as the bad guy, entirely because of how to responde to them. If they say something you know is wrong, you say:
"Actually, according to <name>, <statement>"
That's it. Don't add anything like "you would know this if you read <article>" or anything.
I know how irratating it can be dealing with new people, but the way you're reacting can't continue. If you have a serious problem with someone, talk to me. I'll try to resolve such issues.
Lastly, I know a lot of things are repeated a lot. If that annoys you, don't reply. If you want to reply, just give a one-liner, like "This was actually mentioned here: <link>". It's far more helpful.
Just remember, repeated questions and the like happen. But this isn't a polical discussion board, so no need to get a point across like this
