This is kinda suck. Imagine you only have 2 slot for security, then you installed gateway motion sensor and nuke. Then you want to install router for better security (hey, it's not cheap, you can't expect it to be bought in early game). Yes, indeed, you'll be stuck with those two security component, unless you blow your gateway. Even worse, if you delete the software in your memory bank, you are f*cked. You can't detonate it at all. |

If you had the money, you could simply purchase the trinity gateway. Or that super-duper-four-security-slots security computer. However, assuming that is false, and assuming that you can't replace security systems with other ones, sorry. You're outta luck until you can collect the cash to purchase the trinity gateway (which, I admit, I've never played onlink (I have a mac and don't want to bother buying windows for it), but in original uplink that wasn't a very difficult task). Or that super-duper-four-security-slots security computer. |
