Uh... I'm not really sure what your saying, so I'm going to assume you mean "What do you guys think of a multi-language version of Onlink?"

It seems like it may be a good idea... may take some time, but if it happens then Onlink would be able to spread beyond the english speaking. Which as a consequence (whether it be good or bad) will give Introversion some more cash, due to the fact that you must own a copy of Uplink in order to use Onlink.

A multilanguage version of Onlink is in the works, though it's not any further than its specification.

It's called LanLade II, and it will either make its debut in 0.2.1 or the 0.3.x series. It really depends on how badly we need to rip out the coding core.

That said, Onlink won't be multilingual on its own. That's why LanLade 1.0 never took off; no one ever took the time to translate the strings to their own language. I'll try once more to make it work.

The forums here look to have a pretty diverse group of members as far as locations go, so it might not be too hard to find translators.

I'm totaly fine with the English one. Since all computer stuff is delivered in English i.r.l. as well (despite some browsers, games or office tools), it's realistic.

If you want to walk the cyber path you need to dwell on English dude ;)

Why don't you add it? I don't think anyone here can even write/speak/whatever fluent Chinese.

He can't. Onlink does not support BIG5 or UTF8 or Unicode.

Something I hope to fix later. Eh...

It supports only the basic ASCII set. As I said, I'm working on it.
