    I think because we are adding evolving software we should have a feature that allows software to be updated (disablers, bypasses, and killers) so if you have lets say version 1 of a program and want version 2 - Cost of version one is 100c and version 2 is 300c makes a difference of 200c make the cost of the update 125% of the difference so the update costs 250 - this way you save 150c. (with the version one costs added on because the version one is basically gone when you buy a new version.

    Intresting idea indeed but i think you'd have to buy an updater prog for a symbolic price from uplink internal services machine. i think that one updater can cover all the programs but yeah, rad idea!

    I could envision some kind of "Software_Update" program that generates a list of outdated versions and offers you an upgrade button for each.
