I don't know whether i've actually experienced this before, or if I just never noticed.

I just did the first regular bank heist on the latest version. Everything went as planned, how I have always done it; 1,000,000 successfully transferred to my account and all trace extinguished.

I did however check my statement. Immediately after I had transferred the money, two separate transfers of 250,000 each left my account, for two different banks and accounts.

I broke into those accounts and the money is there, but there doesn't seem to be anything special about those people.

What gives? Is this some sort of internal Uplink 'tax'?

Was this a bank that wasn't the Uplink one?

The money left my Uplink bank account in two installments to two different banks.

i also had this problem, even with the Uplink bank,
apparently the scenario is this: Someone hack into your Uplink Bank account, where there's over 500,000 cash.
The best the could think of doing with this hack, is to to steal ~250 cash or so.

Maybe they hoped i wouldn't notice the small amount because they couldn't get access to delete the evidence?
but still bothers me that someone manages to hack into your uplink bank account, when you yourself is powerless to hack into that specific bank.. (maybe im wrong about this now though.)
