Woah, it's larger than in Onlink.

About time, in my opinion. Onlink's text was pretty small on screens larger than 1024x768 (aka pretty much every modern monitor).

Honestly, I don't really like the new font (but then again, I always downscale to 800x600)

Both projects are still alive. Haven't fixed in a while though, mostly busy with new stuff.

We're not really interested in doing it on Android at this time.

Note, this isn't to say we don't plan on it ever. It's just not our focus. We've making a lot of decisions that should allow us a good amount of portability, but committing to several more cross compatible platforms at once is just going to slow us down.

And we're taking enough time as it is.

Once we feel confident about the gameplay and playtest it a bit (and think it's a game that would really work for the typical android devices), we may revisit it. Until then, no promises.

Hi everyone,

I know it's been a while and I haven't been showing much stuff, nor commented. I didn't sit idly by however and has taken the time to do things right. At the beginning, I was toying with concepts, experimenting, and showing that as progress. After that I slowly stopped talking about the project because other IRL stuff and lots of uninteresting game engine rewrite progress. I'm finally close to emerging from the deep end of the game engine and go back to do actual game stuff.

I don't have much to show at the moment, but just wanted to make sure you guys knew the project wasn't dead.

As a bonus, here's the current stats for the project:
Code:

Hey Mc2m, thanks for the heads-up !

It's nice to see that Kite is still alive.

One question : are you the only one working on Kite ?
