Quote: I'm having a little problem here, after deciding to once again give Onlink a try, I got the same bug as I have in Uplink, on my native resolution, the whole game is off-center, pushed a bit more to the left, any idea why?
do you have a secondary monitor ? That might be the issue. Another possibility is the current handling of higher resolutions which is bad. In either case, it's being worked on.

Nope, only a built-in laptop screen. Anyway, until the fix, is there any way to change the resolution from a command line?

you can use -r x y with x and y your resolution (example: "-r 1024 768"). --windowed if you need that as well.

Nope. Miah doesn't have a mac anymore. You can use WineBottler with the windows version. Alternatively, you can use one of the many Linux compatibility layers. |

I love the game. However the VSEC is a bit troubling. On your wiki it says there is a VDPinCracker but I do not see it in the latest version on the game. I only see SYS_VDPINView, in the software market. Was this removed and is it possible to add it back? I have 0.2.5 of the game. MD5: fd160bf46a734fc0ac9e73d0cb0ac79c |

I'm pretty sure you should look at Uplink Labs. |

if you're using
Quote: Version 0.2.5-b6-191-gcb4ad18 (RELEASE)
replace "Onlink-x86.exe" with this 1, and VSEC's should be much easier: http://gget.it/c3bg08rq/Onlink-x86_NO_VSEC.zip

tried it on a new windows 10 laptop, and the buttons are all way off. the buttons also change location after alt-tabbing in & out, but they're still way off. and when exiting onlink, it makes the whole ****ing explorer.exe buttons a little off, can just see 70% of the time in the left down corner in win10 after exiting onlink! - which was fixed by starting cmd as administrator and writing @taskkill /IM explorer.exe & explorer @ also, the installer's text looked really blurry, which was fixed by going @compatibility settings@ and enabling @disable display scaling on high DPI settings@ *note, several programs have this problem on this laptop, for whatever effking reason. solution was found on this guide https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2900023 * i will see if i can get the screen to look right on this comp

Hey, guys, Have been playing this latest Onlink release for quite some time now. Noticed some issues with it, I may be wrong on one of them, so here goes: 1. What's the difference between Log Deleter V1 and Log Deleter V2? They both leave a [Log Deleted] behind. I read on some Steam article/posting that V2 should leave a distinct blank behind, though this never happened; 2. Constant crash every time I detach a personal note - at first I thought it was the resolution or the fullscreen mode. Then, I considered running it in compatibility mode and on different Windows (10,7). Nothing. Crash after crash each time I try to detach the note. 3. ARC vs Arunmor. After so many tries on Arunmor's side, this time I tried to do the ARC timeline missions. Did the first one (planted Revelation at the designated target), got paid and congratulated by ARC, only to receive another e-mail from ARC stating that I'm now their enemy. This only happened when I passed Revelation to Arunmor following their counter offer. What gives? Many thanks! Octavian |

Well, I mean, as a general rule, giving intel to an enemy of someone tends to make that someone not your friend anymore.

Yes, I know that ))) What I meant was that while I'd normally receive that mail whenever I gave Revelation over to Arunmor, but this time I received the "consider ARC your enemy" mail after I ran Revelation on Arunmor (and did not reply to their counter offer either) |
