Unfortunately, still a crash when trying to remove a bounce point from the chain, giving this error http://pastebin.com/LprZYX1y

Edit: Sorry, my bad, it seems to be fixed, I have just deleted the testing account from the version prior and it worked as far as I have tested, so thank you! Now, time for some gameplay with hopes of no more issues appearing ^^

(assuming all female names belong to fornames_f.txt , and all male names belong to fornames.txt )
seems a lot of males still get female names,
to mention a few: Andrea, Ashley, Aubrey, Avery, Britt, Carey, Carmen, Carol (hey that's my girlfriend!), Carrol, Casey, Chi, Clair, Cleo, Connie, Courtney, Dana, Dannie, Dominique, Dorsey, Elisha, Erin, Frances, Jessie, Jewel, Jewell, Jody, Jude, Jules, Kasey, Kelley, Kelly, Kerry, Lacy, Lauren, Laurence, Lesley, Leslie, Lindsay, Lindsey, Loren, Lynn, Maria, Marion, Marlin, Mary, Mel, Merle, Nicky, Paris, Pat, Patricia

( i didn't go through the whole list though :o )

the game will not save that you disable music in settings. it will stop playing music when you press the apply button, but when you restart the game, it won't remember

bug: if you hack into a bank, delete all the logs, go to your first bounce, delete all the logs, now there should be no proof of your involvement, then connect DIRECTLY to the bank a minute later, it will start tracing you (with 0 bounces), and you will get a "unauthorized access" criminal record...

This should be fixed in the next release, but only for new saves.

...it's complicated.

random people names are generated on each new agent, and saved together with the agent, and the name generation (which only runs on agent creation) is fixed... i guess.

new bug: going to world map, loading bounce list, then zooming in a lot, makes uplink very unstable, if you try to move a bit, you'll quickly run into a crash, here's a log http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=aM4p7dZp

Hello. First thing's first: it's nice to se Onlink still steaming ahead after all this time. Proud of you guys :)

Second: i keep having this problem of logging out of onlink and when i want to log back in it freezes up. Anytime and anywhere. So basicly i can't do squat. For now im running it in virtualbox to save the state of the virtual machineand resume later on but it's kind of annoying.

I won't pretend to be a programmer but i did servers and such. Could it be that while the SQLlite is trying to load the user profile database it encounters an error?

until an official fix,
the worldmap zoom bug can kindof be worked around like this:
open onlink in a disassembler, and (remember that ASLR will try to fuck you over, moving every base address at every program restart, invalidating the addresses);
find the WorldMapInterfaceLabel::SetLabelPosition function,
patch the first MOV EBP,ESP instruction to JMP SHORT to the INT3 instructions behind it (you'll need 7 bytes), change the INT3's to
MOV EBP,ESP
JMP LONG 0068BCCD (a bunch of 0x000000000 at end of file)
( http://prntscr.com/6hdnfs )

then at
0068BCCD

CPU Disasm
Address Hex dump Command Comments
0068BCCD 60 PUSHAD
0068BCCE 837D 08 07 CMP DWORD PTR SS:[EBP+8],7
0068BCD2 77 08 JA SHORT Error
0068BCD4 837D 08 00 CMP DWORD PTR SS:[EBP+8],0
0068BCD8 7C 02 JL SHORT Error

0068BCE2 E8 795FD7FF CALL Onlink-x86.App::Output
0068BCE7 83C4 04 ADD ESP,4
0068BCEA 61 POPAD
0068BCEB C745 08 01000 MOV DWORD PTR SS:[EBP+8],1

( http://prntscr.com/6hdo3v )
where 00447493 is the instruction right AFTER the patched MOV EBP,ESP.
Now it won't crash, but you might get the labels at the wrong locations when zooming in a lot..or something... im not really sure what this 0-7 switch-case thing is, i just know that it must be between 0-7 for not to error out, and sometimes when zooming in, its like int32_t(-1163005939) :?: mc2m? miah? any1? what's the switch in WorldMapInterfaceLabel::SetLabelPosition for? :P

Well here i have 2 screenshots and an error log for you.

The first freeze up happend when i redownloaded the game and made a clean install, created a completley new agent and didn't do any missions. When i pressed the button in the top left corner to log out, the game froze up and did not even write a log.

The second i have a log for you, it happened when i restarted the game and tried to log in. When pressing proceed the game froze up and i had to CTRL+ALT+DEL it.

Please note that between the crashes i could normally log in an out of the user profile without any problems, then i go do a mission and log out and presto crasho while loging in.

hope the log helps.

http://pastebin.com/bxQYybRY

Edit: Used OllyDbg 2.0 to do some testing. Came up with this (screenshot in zip archive). Im not a programmer or anything but i thought it might help.

Edit2: Just to be clear it is a bank log generation problem. May be the one Mc2m supposedly fixed in the last patch wich i made the clean install with. Also i did delete evreything in the %appdata% folder related to onlink. Still crashes with the same error. Sry Mc2m :(

Edit3: Never Mind, seems to work good now :)

Thanks guys and keep up the good work! :)

Sorry for the double post but found another bug (this one is real this time) :P

While in the uplink research center i bought 3 of the best processors available then i went out of the buy screen and right into software section and olink crashed.

Here is the error:

http://pastebin.com/1a0jaA6P

Edit: restarting the game does not help. It always crashes as i press the software button.
