So I was just playing today and earlier when I did a "Remove All" on my saved contacts, it left InterNIC, but just now when I logged back on to the game, InterNIC is gone. I did a "remove all" again, and it still isn't there. Any help?

You can only locate ip address of InterNic using you logs.

So, after figuring out what else I could do in Onlink, I once again checked the bank account database... And... I have to ask, did you intentionaly made it so that you can still get the original IDs and passwords, just have to find a way around the encryption on the internet? Because the alghorytm used is very outdated and has many different pages to crack it, so getting the original strings isn't hard at all... :)

Found a bug, can't make a bugzilla account though. :( I upgraded to "The UNITY High-Security platform", and now anytime I go to a menu that contains any sort of computer upgrades (Software, Hardware, Gateway, Aux Gateway) at either Uplink Internal or Uplink Labs, causes Onlink to freeze and crash.
The exact same thing happened to me when I upgraded to the last gateway on the list called "The AM-CORE file server".
I hope this gets fixed very soon, since the most expensive gateway is crashing the game. I will have to restart the game all over again after all the hard work.

This might be sorta spoiler-y:

Either a bug or intentional, it seems that checking the statement causes money to be split. So it usually goes like this:
- Get into bank account
- Check account, 1M credits
Either
- Transfer without checking statement beforehand = 1M, nothing new shows up on statement but your recent transaction
Or
- Check statement, there's one or two transactions that send around 10% to 50% of the money somewhere else
- Checking account again shows it now has 1M minus the transfers

So, to sum it up, if you transfer before checking the statement, you end up getting the same amount of money in just one hack (except for whatever small change was on the bounce accounts to begin with)!

Sounds like a 'feature' to me.

And it actually makes sense. At least you have to expose yourself to more risk in order to rake in dat paper.

Hi guys, it's been a while.
I've been playing the last build, and my savefile keeps getting corrupted when hacking bank accounts. Im not sure what's causing it, just that every time i get to that point in the game (transfering money to my account), savefile gets corrupted. I believe it happens when im caught.

Dunno if it's a known bug, or not... Should i post a corrupted savefile?

Can someone help me?
I joined ARC, did some of their missions, and BAM; magicaly got mission from Arunmor. This is ruining the game, and makes it kinda unplayable.

I don't really think so, Arunmor wants you, so you do have a chioce which side you will help. IIRC Andromeda is the bad one and Arunmor is a good one.

But, I've complete Arunmor campaign. I know that being good is good, but being evil is funnier for me. Also, I want to check out if abandoning GrandTour, deleting logs on your gateway and deleting e-mails from ARC makes Uplink unable to catch you.

EDIT: I can't complete SaveItForJury and ShinyHammer, Arunmor's chief NEVER gets arested, and after I destroy Arunmor's LAN NOTHING happens :evil:

saving rewritten in SQLite! nice :D

(last i checked, it was some XML format that would just crash when trying to save with 4GB ram... SQLite should be much smaller, faster, corruption resistant, ram friendlier, etc)

btw an annoying bug, more and more "bugged/invisible log enteries" are piling up in Internic, making it take longer and longer to delete log enteries... save file attached if anyone want to take a look..

(i managed to fix it by running
DELETE FROM accesslog WHERE sup_ref LIKE '9(%';
effectively deleting all logs from internic.. was about 50 of them,
many, for whatever reason, invisible/blanked in-game..)
