Now there is something I can help with!

Uplink as well as Onlink make use of MOD music. In a nutshell, they're old files mostly used during a time where connections weren't as fast as they are now. My personal collection can be found here . They contain all of Onlink's tracks as well as some more that I found through a combination of filewatcher and modarchive.

Damn these limitations of a new user.

Not a bug. Try using 'help' in the console.

As for the music, there's a ton like it. http://modarchive.org/ will provide hours of music.

P.S. Cant download any other onlink mod for linux as all the links are dead. Can somebodyatlest upload 1.2final for linux? Or any other version (for linux)?

Here's a nice bundle of .ahx files, also comes with a player and a winamp plugin for that extension

sorry for interrupting you guys, but I just logged in after like a couple of years (I suddenly started craving Onlink again) and surprisingly, the development is still active and running! I'm so looking forward to see what you've done so far. Great job guys!

Probably a stupid request, but can i request that someone copile the source for 0.2.5 with gc4 for a linux binary?

Well!

I had a weird dream about Onlink today. I tried signing up as Miah only to get the message "Fool the fool" (I don't know what that means either), preventing me from signing up as him.

So I just woke up and tried it out and to no-one's surprise, you can't do it. Or Tycho.

It seems that you don't need to have Uplink installed for this to work fully. Is this intentional?

Yes. Onlink hasn't required uplink itself for over a year.

Wow, haven't been on this forum for around 5 years now! Nice to see development is still going on.

I've downloaded the latest version and managed to run into a LAN problem, game always crashes when I try to hack the CM. Looks like bugs 250, 269, 272 and 273 could be related to that so hopefully they're being attended to because as it stands you can't get through the main story!

Just wanted to say it's nice to see this still happening. I love playing uplink / online. Keep up the development please. I'm hoping we have a whole new audience in the uplink world after the humble bundle recently (and with all the press that prison architect is getting). Whatever you do, please don't stop development on this... i love this mod

you have me confused are you trying to say you cant register on onlink as Miah or Tycho?

or have i just missed the whole troll or your story

If i'm right in thinking, one of the older versions had a cheat menu unlocked by signing up as Miah or Tycho (as opposed to the old uplink TooManySecrets method)
