I am getting crashes the second I crack the InterNic password and the game keeps crashing whenever I try accessing it. This is on a NEW save since I have no old ones. Using the 64-bit client.

*edit*

However, manually typing the password works fine (if you are fast, you can memorize it once the cracker actually cracks it and before it crashes) and it seems to works once the password gets "saved".

Well, looks like I've been missing A LOT, huh! :)
College's been cray, so I'm sorry I can't test right now. I'm dying to play after this update!

So i'm testing it out with the new mission tiering system.

My primary observation so far is that security systems are upgrading way faster than I am provided with missions to get the money for the required software.

I've spent the last four in-game days fast-forwarding until a mission that pays 1.5/2k pops up in order to get the money for a mission i've currently accepted. It's only a difficulty 4 mission, but in the last few days the firewall, sentry and proxy have all upgraded to level 4 and it has just added a b.monitor. If there had been more missions I might have been able to get the required gear before the upgrades got too heavy, but i'm only getting one mission or so a day and they're all low paying.

So, found a bit of extra time to fiddle with the new version a bit. Filed a fresh batch of bugs already.

So far I'm liking the tiering system. It seems to add back the value of money - you can't just blindly grind it anymore. Only problem is "change the DNS record" missions still pay off too little for what they require, which kind of breaks the whole thing if you're unlucky to get too many of them

On a separate note, there's this one mission I always laugh at:
"Steal important data from a rival company
Target: Free Software Incentive"
Oh, the irony!

Fresh install, new save and using the new tier-missions.

I'm having problems, the second I get "change dns records" missions, the system I'm trying to hack has Proxy, Firewall, Sentry and a Monitor, sometimes B.Monitor. The thing is, they all have a level of ZERO, but yet they are "active" so to speak, meaning that I have to buy disable/killers and I often lack enough time to deactivate the systems before the trace runs out

You don't have to do everything in a single hack, try disabling one of the systems, disconnecting and connecting again

They don't actually have a level of zero. It's just a display whoopsy.

Also the issue you're having is adaptive security, which I defanged today. And will be defanging tomorrow again.

Ok, a lot of the errors seem to have been fixed... Have you guys released a linux binary yet? I could use the OSX binary if you guys didn't use cocoa or carbon for it, but that might lead to errors that wouldn't normally be there (mach kernel vs. BSD kernel)... And my macbook i was using for Audio VIsual at school just fried. I need to replace the SATA controller (YAY, new logic board fees...) Anyway, long story short (sorry for blathering), is there a linux binary available?

So, yeah.... I accidentally the Tribute to Musana email, the one you should reply with the file. Do I have to start over, or there's something else I can do about it?
