Hi everyone, here are some quick bug fixes.

As always, you can find the new version using theses links:
Windows: http://ferrousmoon.com/OnlinkSetup-0.2.5.exe
Linux: http://ferrousmoon.com/onlink.tar.gz

Changelog:

Fixes:
- connection shortcut was not always clearing the connection.
- crash when fast-forward (this will be the death of me)
- saving interface was broken
Is this update the same as on the first page here?
I downloaded the file from page 1 and I keep getting the fast-forward freeze then crash.

I'm currently having a blast with a 2012 version of this, which works perfectly fine. I'd still prefer to use the most recent version of course, so does anyone know? Else I'll risk it all and just try, lol. ^^

Downloaded the latest file from the replies on this thread, and that has fixed the freeze issue. ^^

I think I may or may not have found a bug. Not sure if this has been reported or not. It's fairly consistent and easy to reproduce.

Hack into any bank account > Click view account, there will be X cash in it. > Exit view account and click view statement, then go back to view account. The amount of money has changed all of a sudden. Sometimes the amount rises, most of the times it falls. Repeating the process on the same account doesn't seem to do anything else to it, even after disconnecting from the bank. Is this even a bug, though? Big props on all the awesome work, by the way.

Daaamn, all these years, I always thought this was a sadistic way of increasing difficulty, I didn't know it was a bug

Also, a bug I knew about but waved away. Been fixed since then fortunately.

this save consistently freezes the game a few seconds after fast-forwarding

the last thing i did was to modify logs to incriminate a person in a "frame user for destruction of data" mission in internic

Moving the Trace_tracker crashes the game a few moments after setting it back down. I am using the latest release of Onlink and it happens every single time. Log attached.

I played quite a long time ago I was addicted to addiction but for a long time I had a break. Now I want to return to the game again. My old saves (2013) do not work because from what I remember I already had problems with them. I even reported it on the bugzilla service but I can see it is not working. http://www.ferrousmoon.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=224
However, I have copies of the answers in the e-mail and there I was advised to remove empty save tables. How can this be done?
What happend with bugzilla?

Bugzilla ansfer (16.04.2013):
"That bug is now fixed. To use save in current version, remove empty tables from
the save."

Bugzilla ansfer (20.04.2013):
With the version just released, you just have to load your save and it should
work."
Can I download this version somewhere else (after this date but not latest)?

PS.What happend with Wiki?

That would be a 5-year-old version, the answer is that's impossible unless someone with an archived version sends you a copy. There are some changes now, though, so just dump that old save and start anew, it's not like it takes more than a couple hours gameplay to reach the top-tier missions!
Edit: disregard this paragraph, I've just read your other post

About the Wiki, it's currently offline while the site undergoes some changes. Meanwhile, you could always browse an archived snapshot of it

found a (nearly?) game-breaking bug, but it appears to be part of new-and-improved Access Control Servers, so i'll wrap it in spoiler tags for people that want to figure out how to defeat it themselves..

in the Access Control Servers where you have to run programs for the ACS to not delete your programs on disconnect (is that a new feature or a bug? if it's a new feature, neat, but i made this in response), trying to execute `run Log_Deleter` or `run Log_UnDeleter` or seemingly anything containing the phrase `delete` will make it delete everything in the usr folder instead of running it!

another minor bug:

in a Console, if you have the text input window in focus, it captures everything you write, but if it's not in focus, it still captures the Enter button, but nothing else.. i guess it's not supposed to capture anything (including Enter) when not in focus?

feature request: can we get `ls` as an alias of `dir`? given that the filesystem is modeled after unix systems, that sure would be appropriate, `ls` is the traditional unix-command, `dir` is traditionally a windows/MSDOS command, and the filesystems are Unix-ish

Okay, I located that major problem. It comes from Uplink, so you can do that in every consoles.

the return when not in field is normal in the Uplink interface logic. I do not know if I want to fix it.

ls is added, but the release hasn't happened yet :/

right, but since it's a __GAME BREAKING__ bug, can you hurry up?

If I thought it was a game breaking problem, I would.

found another minor bug:
when you "post" a notepad note, you can open the posted notepad, edit it, close it, open it, and your edits will still be there.

but when you edit a posted notepad note, close it, log out, and log in again, it will have forgotten your edits.
