Are they actually making money out of this? I mean, sure, there's believable spam, like the ones that ravage 4chan. But the ones that post here... their posts are such unbelievable gibberish, that I ask myself - aren't the ones behind them losing more money on resources than they're supposedly making? |

Well, the user mwcdmfjqj I notice has been mentioning a few well known high-fashion designers ... maybe just a rogue advertising agency. I've seen these on other boards advertising upcoming movie releases. Interestingly these ones on this site don't appear to have websites to the products they're advertising in their profiles |

If I remember correctly, users without a minimum amount of posts can't post links of any kind. Maybe because of that. |

I did a little thinking ... Perhaps these are rogue advertisers for the brands they mentioned doing a little bit of a form of SEO poisoning So they imagine people will search for these forums (THEY SURE WILL ONCE THE ONLINK PATCH COMES OUT!!) - I figure then they hope that when people search for ferrousmoon.com, below it in the search results or perhaps among the search ads will be websites for the brands they mention |
