The GeoIP sealed it for me. ;)

Or he got smart enough to use a proxy.

Proxy server information here.

Short version: A proxy server is an additional computer link between you and and the host you are connecting, used to render you anonymous.

Similar to the connection-bounce system in Uplink/Onlink.

oh. that makes sense. my school uses a proxy, but i always assumed that meant it was just more secure.

i go on at school, and at the library. no internet at home. anyway, is there any way i could help in the production of onlink? i have a flash drive, so i can use that to transfer files and stuff, and i'm learning how to write programs in c++. is there any way i can help?

You'd have to pass a test on your C++ programming skills, and if you're just learning, it's unlikely you'd have a chance to pass it.

Also, Vaius. Nice avatar. :3

That reminds me, when will there be another Programming Challenge posted?

My programming challenges are so much weaker than Project Euler's challenges. I don't know if another challenge _will_ be posted.

Project Euler is heavily mathematical. If you avoid going for the maths-heavy challenges like primality testing, then the programming challenges are still useful.

Fair enough. Though I'd have to think something up.

Nobody ever did my "design a BST" problem. :<
