Meh, we could go on forever - it has come down to a matter of opinion. I prefer the audio as close to reality as possible, you prefer it as close to perfection as possible. I'm fucked, everything modern is made for you and not for me! :classy:
I hear you. Do you remember when we had tapes, and at the top of the dynamic range they'd have that amplitude boost that would just make this super sweet warm feeling right in the upper ranges? That was awesome. Modern CDs are too processed.
