The domain apparently expired yesterday, meanwhile I got zero notification about it.

OH MY, something seriously wrong here guyes... it took me 1 friggin' hour to be able to connect to the Ferrous Moon. All of a sudden, my internet stopped working - all websites - EXCEPT FOR THE ONES OWNED BY GOOGLE. Even when I did a research on Google, the webpages would show up on the results. But if I clicked them... they didn't work... :shock:

Since Google doesn't actually have any control over the internet infrastructure I seriously doubt this means anything. Unless somehow your ISP was in cahoots with them.

More likely you had a DNS problem but google's IP happened to be in your cache because that's the site you use most often.

I meant all google services, including Gmail, Orkut, Youtube...

Pretty freaky if you ask. Besides, I'm pretty positive I access this forum and lolhehehe's forum more than google! :classy:

Apparently it's Google's 11th birthday.
Pro tip: Clicking on the Google logo when it looks weird takes you to a Google search about whatever the logo is referencing.

Nooo alt-text here.. it was gone after some hours anyway, so I'm guessing it was just placed there at the wrong time...





On a separate note, my gf just phoned me today asking me to access her orkut, her internet was down. Her password has 53 fuckin' characters... :shock:
