    Hi there.

Another useful fun topic, as I hope.

Learning hacking - or - train your (maybe not yet existing) hacking skills

In this post, we will discuss techniques, general knowledge and useful links.
I was thinking since long of sort of a hacking training site, where you can learn and test your skills on increasingly more difficult tasks. Starting with gaining easy access for dummies that just know how to operate a mouse, up to damn hard cryptoanalytical head nuts for brain nerds with extraterrestrial skills. Sort of like a hacking parcours with lessons, how-to's and examples.
I'm thinking of something maybe a bit like the OsX FAQ for learning the terminal, but for hacking and security techniques.
Haven't found a descent page of this sort yet. :classy:

My first contribution will be a link to a hacker-Comic about reverse engineering, that provides interestingly deep inside in techniques and used programs.
    Enjoy: http://hackerschool.org/DefconCTF/17/B300.html

And here some links you guys posted on the "list of hacker games" although I think the have more to do with tutorials and trainings as they are challenges:

Correct me, if I'm wrong :classy:

GS, I actually do find interest in a tutorial, but I would be kidding myself if I said I'd be able to keep continues attention. Besides the fact that my online life is going to go nearly flatline for a few weeks because of the upcoming move, my attention-span isn't very long with these things. I didn't learn to use Photoshop in one go for example, it took me years of on and off interest to get where I am now. That's fine when your self-learning, but not when someone else is also spending time.
