So, just out of curiosity (and to break the silence a little) ... how far are you guys off from releasing an alpha? And I mean, about weeks/months/years?

No reply, no update.. So the Onlink is finally dead? At least it's development? :(

It's so shame, that f*cking save bug is still unfixed, so the Onlink is unplayable. :(

Miah's still around. I just have no clue what he's up to.

Haven't seen/spoken to Tycho in a long while, though.

I don't know what the status of the Onlink project is, but I would like to contribute my graphic design and programmings skills if called for. I am involved in real-world network security and this game is a kick, far better than the original uplink.

Use makefile. (its 'make' program).

Make is a part of the GNU compiler tools (not quite sure if it's classified as part of GCC or not) Just install gcc and build essential (an anything else required by the program you're compiling), and then change to the root directory of the source code for that program (if the program is in /home/user/Cerberus/, that is its root directory) and compile by running make as you would run any program in your bin directory

edit: I forgot to clarify: build essential (it should actually be build-essential) is a package that is required to compile almost anything. I'm not fully sure what it contains (although i know it's part of the compiler tools and most of the libraries), but it's normally essential, so install that with gcc.
