Because why not

I wrote these Feel free to add your own and criticise
(Some of these were written while tripping and using a broken keyboard i don't edit pieces written in a separate state of mind even for typos)

not entirely sure why we chooose to be high is it because of a vibe or the beat of the sky is it when the birds come down or when the worms rise from the grund prey and predators protects eachother the destroyers are preserver swine flu is my flu at mill hill i count by two me and you cannot be unless my perciption on reality is cracked in which case you can't come back for i've had a heart attack of the mind

a child cries
one thing i have learned to blacken my eyes
soldiers line up for war
citizens take it no more
bombshells sing a bittersweet symphony of victory in city streets
the grandmother cries out "what is the price for peace"
her voice is dinnned by the rest of the crowd
despite her protests she yells so loud
as the world zooms up to a sattelite view
i sit comfortably at home
as do you
the news comes in through your roof and we choose to ignore the proof
our actions caused this our votes revolved it and we keep going for fear of fallin

this world we live in is next to another. it can't be explained with simple rhymes and beats my brother. They exist in our world but we can't see them excvept when the situation is dire enough to lead them out from there cowering terroist holes into the world where they get bulldozed these are creatures that are not afraid of george w bushs army of rage they control all what they dont is petty i'll stand and fight them with just a machete our world is parralel to an alien one filled with invaders armed withguns the connection is see through transparent glass youc an't see through it but i got past and i went and i fought and i'm back and i'm fine and now i just need a glass of wine but theres more i need to tell you for your safety none of us is safe and none of us is free

<<Keep it PG-13, please -M>>

This time i'll rhyme to speak my mind
I've got lessons to teach not morality to preach
now listen cause i don't repeat
Everything alive has gotta eat
I'm not the one to blame i play the game
This is a world where you have to kill
Surviving is easy but to live takes skill
Straight lines lead to canned lies
Right from the gutter I speak to you now one man to another
Sit in a chair let down your hair
Breathe in out don't be afraid of the round about
Take note of the words wrote
The one who has seen it all leaves no regrets when death calls

You have way too much time on your hands.

Poetry...

I remember when my english teacher made our class write odes to things. People chose stuff like sports, reading, the usual random stuff.

And of course, I wrote mine on computers.

I'll start handing out comments and critiques when I'm in a less-sleep deprived state of mind.

Yes, he did.

Keep it cleaner than that. I don't want google to get the wrong impression.

I think that particular line was PG-13 because it sounds like something an 11-year old would write.

Huh, I didn't realize that Shakespeare, Poe, Chaucer, Pope, Johnson, Wordsworth, et. al. were all emo! Thanks for teaching me things that my literature teacher didn't, Switch! /sarcasm

Maybe, before you start passing judgment on an entire medium, you should actually read some good works from said medium.

And I was cranky from having roughly two and a half hours of sleep because SOMEONE decided to have KIDS and expect ME to take care of THEM.

In other news, I hate my family. :D
