http://mashable.com/2009/07/10/imageshack-hacked/ In hindsight, before this newspost went up, I guess I shouldn't've deleted a bunch of my IS images that were just being wonky. -- Griffinhart |

The anti-Sec are awesome! My definition of "good guys" would be them. This isn't the first time they've taken out servers like this, and probably not the last. They even managed to hack google once to make a little propaganda...

I dunno. From my point of view, Full disclosure isn't meant to help designers and developers and retailers and whatnot, it's to help the consumer. It's to tell the consumer, "HEY. DON'T DO THIS WITH THIS PROGRAM OR USE THAT OTHER PROGRAM BECAUSE BAD PEOPLE WILL RUIN YOUR SHIT." Not telling the consumer this can harm them, because lack of full disclosure isn't going to stop blackhats from swapping around exploits, but it will stop consumers from learning about these exploits. Because really, how fast do you think most developers put together fixes? -- Griffinhart |

Quote: ...stuff... -- Griffinhart darn, now that you put it that way, it really looks like they are forcing things to make full disclosure seem worse than it is... still, this doesnt change my opinion about them, not after they helped TPB and TR so much on their struggle... |

I've heard of these "folks" before. That's all I have to say about that, for the moment. |
