So, over the last few days I've been developing an app that would be really useful for me. Basically, it's an alarm clock and sleep timer that hooks into windows media player or itunes with a few other nice little features. I want to publish it and ask for donations, since I'm pretty much broke, but I have no idea where to put it. Also, let me know if a program like this would interest you so I can gauge the kind of reception I might get from it. And lastly, let me know if you can think of an app that you've been wanting that you think might sell or attract donations. |

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of sourceforge. Thanks. The others seem to be more business-based: you need a company name/website, neither of which I have. Oh well, sourceforge should be good. Thanks. Ideas/thoughts are still welcome. |

I can't say whether i'd use it or not because i'm not sure exactly what it does. Is it just an alarm clock that uses your music on your computer as the alarm sound? |

At its core, yes. It's got some nice additional features, including a sleep timer that will turn music off for those of us who like to fall asleep with background noise, plus it can turn up your volume automatically for your alarm and then reset it for you once you're awake. You can choose what you want to wake up to, whether it be a playlist, a song, or a file, or just whatever is queued up. |

I prefer to use GitHub, they are becoming more and more of a project hosting site rather than just a Git repository hosting site. They also have the option to setup Paypal donations, and their interface is really simple to use. (I find SF to be a bit cluttered) |
