So one of the schools in my school district was closed down today due to swine flu for an indefinite period of time. Personally I hope no (more) closures occur until next week so I can at least take my goddamn AP exams beforehand. -- Griffinhart EDIT: Clarification: the school that was closed down is not the school I am currently attending. |

So what, swine flu... pfff. There are deadlier things on earth. I'm mostly worried about that uncontrollable and vicious thing called "humans" for instance. It's a loose cannon, man! Wars, even cars ... and age. Many got killed by cars and no one is really freaking out about that fact. Age is the most deadly thing. Sooner or later, it will get you and than you're fucked. 100% deathrate. Live keeps to it's promise: "time is granted to you, but it's not for ever. Spend it wisely and enjoy." BtW, i wouldn't really claim the american health care system supperior to the mexican. The Mexican is quiet good. They've got wonderfull doctors over there. What does the most advanced technique help, if no one can effort it and no one uses it because you can't pay for it and the insurance won't pay either, and the doc is not helping, because he won't get paid ... What happened to Hippokrates or the Declaration of Geneva? Dammit, there is nothing supperior about America nor any other nation. I really love the declaration of independence and the declaration of the rights of man and of the citizen (Déclaration des Droits de l'Homme et du Citoyen). Wonderful pieces. But look how the powers to be changed. The Foundation is still marvelous, but there is nothing beautiful about the building, that towers on top of it nowadays. Damn, I just have to watch the twist in german politics and the EU, their greed for control. They are establishing zensorship of the internet. Nothing supperior there either. I wouldn't mind, if some flu or carexident would kill some thousand of politicians and leading figures of economy. I couldn't count on age. It's too slow. |
