You still don't seem to get it. In Belgium the only speak French in the lower part of Belgium. And everything about paperworks and so is done there French (tax and so on). In the north part they use dutch for the language and paperwork. But in the German part (it's a small community on the east part of Belgium) everything is done in German and people tend to talk German there.
No, you don't get it. I'm not going to Belgium and there's nothing you can do about it!And if you would come to the northern part of Belgium. You can just talk English because 80% of the people will understand it there. If you would go to collage or so, it is possible to follow they course in English. And blah blah blah ![]() (Especially because Belgium isn't even an option for me right now.) |

Well, I'll be goddamned if the beer in germany isn't the very best there is. In southern Brazil, where there was heavy german colonization (my great grandfather was german, btw), there's something called the Oktoberfest, and I know this fest is original from Germany, so the beer there should be pretty awesome, shouldn't it? |

Well that's cool. Going back to an earlier note I recently had Blue Moon, which is apparently Belgian, and it was pretty nice! (Also this topic confused the hell out of me since it was split. At first: "Oh cool, someone else is asking about living in Germany." Then: "What the hell when did I make that topic?") |

Bah, no German is getting away with the title of best beer whilst I reside next to my British real-ale pubs ¬¬
