Major companies might switch over to Linux if it had a larger userbase and more support, but to get a larger userbase and more support, Linux needs major companies to start using it.

If Linux had way better games support, then Linux would be my main and only OS.

My vote goes for Tycho making a Linux build, with Cerberus completely integrated (you can play Cerberus and use the computer for other stuff at the same time), that would be my OS for sure.. who would need other games anyway?

Here's the way I look at it. Most businesses are too stupid to realize the hundreds they would ave on downtime and licensing if they were to switch to Linux.

As for Windows 7: I'm already using Vista, and if speed's the only major change between Vista and Win7, chances are I won't upgrade for a while. Unless if there's a serious, time-limited discount for Vista Business users, then I might consider shelling out.

I really don't like the idea of maintaining a Linux distro. To be perfectly honest, Miah and I did consider it for about 10 seconds before realizing we'd hate ourselves if we did it.
