Okay, I want to get a bigger monitor than what I have. It's to replace my secondary 1024x768 monitor as my new primary monitor. I'm still keeping my 1680x1050 21.6".

I've got a $200 gift certificate to Newegg.com, and I've found two that I like:

The 2ms(GTG) model just dropped down to $199.99 so I thought now would be a good time to decide.

They both can be hung, which I won't be doing anyways. Why do you recommend the lighter one? (I just checked, it seems the originally more expensive one is the lightest of the two... odd.)

There's a difference in response time and contrast ratio (5ms vs 2ms, and 12000:1 to 20000:1)...

Jeez, if only I wanted before buying my monitor. Cost me $200, and it's not nearly as good as some of the other ones out there.

    Myself, I'm a brand monkey.

I'm a fan of Trinitron, if I can get ahold of one.
