Here's the deal: I'm doing a website for my uncle and I fail at any fancy graphic design. He's decided to use Joomla and gave me a premium template to work with. Right now I need some help making a few different headers, that depict happy families. (I mean, would you want to buy off a website with frowning people left and right? (I guess that depends...) )

So anyways, I'm attaching the base image. Keep the words on the left the same, but put the family picture on the right. If you need a better idea of where it'll be positioned, check out http://eringle.net/joomla/, you can't miss it.

And remember, this is just if you're bored and are pretty experienced when it comes to graphic design. This is for my uncle's company, so it needs to look professional. (And, as you can see on the site, I am horrible at tracing around an image.)

    Please and Thank you.

    Oh, yay, header rotation.

I'd just get a bunch of photos, stick them all in a folder, put together some PHP code to randomly call them up (or nonrandomly, depending on which page you're viewing, etc), and voila. No need to come up with a lot of really big & clunky banners all saying exactly the same thing. Plus it saves time if you need to change something.

But since I've never tried to build anything for Joomla, I wouldn't have the faintest idea where to slot the code in. And I wouldn't be surprised if the mambot already existed.

Lol, sorry about that - I noticed you already implemented a javascript rotator. Next time I'll check the source code before I make any suggestions :/

Ok, so this isn't what you asked for, but for a site like this, I reckon you'd might like to try another direction.

I'd also evaluate whether or not I want two navigation menus. You have the horizontal one, and the vertical one in the content area. I'd say get rid of the horizontal one, and stick with a logo, banners, and those 4 emphasized flash thingies. The attached mockup doesn't account for this, but I'll probably do another one in short order.

Forum wouldn't let me upload, so: http://ipghost.info/cpu5594/inhtl2.png. Apologies for the 1600x950 size - I use a widescreen.

Update: I played with it some more, reduced it to 1000 px wide (standardish width for websites nowadays), and you can see the mockup here: http://ipghost.info/cpu5594/inthl3.png.

Ok, I'm done now. Promise :?
