Finally got a working installation of Ubuntu on my desktop, and I have to say, I'm loving it.

8.04's kernel hates Seagate drives so I burned an Ibex disc and It installed without problems.
My other issue was with wireless, seeing as my Dad hasn't had time to run Ethernet to my side of the house, we stuck our access point up in the attic. Getting off-topic... Anyways, used ndiswrapper for wireless, that's all good.

Then, there is graphics. The proprietary driver installed great and everything, but I cannot figure out how to get dual monitors working. Catalyst Control Center offers Big Desktop, but that just gives both monitors a huge resolution which neither of my monitors support.
So basically, I have a 1024x768 on my left, and a 1680x1050 in front of me, is there support for different sized monitors yet? If not, I'll simply ask for another 21.6" for Christmas, but I need to know. :)

    UPDATE:
Okay, got Xinerama working, so far it's been pretty nice, and so far Linux has replaced Windows as my primary OS. :)
