(See the first episode here) Time for a new episode for the video blog. I still sound diseased... I think I have chronic bronchitis or something. Wootsies. In this episode, I discuss what happens when I bite off more than I can chew (Spoiler alert: I go crazy and bite off even more). Feel free to leave comments about this new interface; the ones from the prior episode were useful, and helped me to finish the interface. I thought it felt a bit off when I posted the video for it. Key mapping looks cool. It'll be nice not to have to go to the software button every single time I want to run a file. Or scroll through the links every time I want to go to InterNIC/ Uplink Internal Services System. |

Sweet-awesome. Keymapping bypassers, yay! I didn't expect that everything could be mappable, but it sure seems like it. I'm guessing all the crazy stuff down on your list of HUD items will be revealed later? -- Griffinhart |

Some of it not until 0.3.x versions. I need to start mapping out in advance, otherwise I'm going to overload the HUD.I'll be discussing it with some of the testers, but not here for a while. If you guys can think of anything special that should be mappable, let me know. It's not exactly easy/sane to automate some of them (i.e. the screenshot key), so let me know if you think of other things. |

Yay, hotkeys. That gives me an idea: A mission where you have to be really, really fast. I mean, you get pretty much more than enough time for every mission if you just use enough bounce points. The only exception I can think of are LANs, and even then you will more likely run out of space rather than time. Oh, and there are two other exceptions: The final missions for both ARC and Arunmor, especially the ARC one. I'd really like to finally see something similar in regular missions, with (a) different goal(s), of course. Probably you've already considered something like this, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to mention it. EDIT: With the LAN Spike LAN missions don't really count anymore. I'm not saying it's a bad addition though. |

The Medical DB probably has more information in it than all the other DBs combined. It's pretty great. And I'm not just saying that because I designed it. |

My guess is explosions and fiery doom. Also medical stuff. Probably treatments for wounds caused by explosions and/or fiery dooms. -- Griffinhart |
