Yep, all onlink/uplink related version updates of any kind, never had backwards compatibility. Your user file would be corrupt and/or very cranky. And from what Miah mentioned, the huuuuge timetable setback for creating backwards compatibility... I think I can live without that feature.

TL;DR: Efficiency over excess.

I'm gonna assume your asking about the availability of v .1.3.

It was, is, and will never be available. Version .2.0 is coming straight after .1.2.

Miah will probably post if he has any news he's willing to share, and IIRC he has already said several times he doesn't want to give a release date.

Patience ;p

Here's an update: I finally sent Miah the HUD button for the keyboard shortcuts, which was pretty much the last one he needed.
Whether or not that actually has an effect on the release date? I doubt it. :classy:

Read the posts before and was wondering about a "possible" release date. I can't wait to try the it...

And hi btw, this is my first post. xD

I've had a few requests for a projected release date.

We don't do deadlines. It's just asking for trouble. And also angry people.

I read that. I'm not asking for a specific date, just an idea (this month ?). Sorry for asking ?

A while ago, for no reason I can remember, I tried to calculate a logical release time for Onlink 0.2.0.

Somehow, according to the average days-per-increase-version-by-0.0.1, I ended up with this release date: April 9, 2009.

To be honest, I'm having some issues with the specification of one of the core items. Once I nail the spec down, it should be a downhill ride from there.

I think it's time for fresh eyes. The problem is that when I give people my spec, I don't usually here more back than "sounds good."

In fact, that's just what Tycho said when I showed him the spec.

I then proceeded to beat him with his own notebook (that I wrote the spec in), after which I finished watching Cloverfield on his Blu-Ray.

And that's where I stand for the C++ addon function.

I actually need to see Cloverfield at some point in time, damnit.
