We may be taking a while with Onlink v0.2.0, but we're definitely making progress. I spent a whole day not long ago fixing many many bugs. Upwards of 30 quashed. :)

Why don't the impatient start some sort of release date pool? That would be interesting. The winner would receive a free copy of Onlink!
The winner should have access to Onlink 24 hours before everyone else. That'll get some blood up and a competitive spirit.

Miah and I are pushing to get a build out much sooner than Vaius' prediction. In fact, we'd ideally like to get one out within a couple weeks, just so we can get some testing going on. We'll likely leave out some features though, keeping only features that are developed to the point that they're at least functional. After all, it's been an eternity since we had a release, and we hate to keep saying "it's coming soon".

Thanks, wench.

Right, okay, this means I'll have to temp-disable some things. The programming interface and savant cypher namely. Unfortunatly, the storyline (also unfinished due to programming interface requirement) will be disabled too. I'll enable the first act though for a "teaser" of sorts. Give an idea of what's going on.

Thankfully there's a ton still done. Time to get cracking. <_<

NOTE: This is a public alpha, not the final version of .2.0.

Yesrly, now quit asking and let's just enjoy this build while it lasts until a better build comes out.

I'd like to ask though; if I am not mistaken, Lifting Servers were a concept that were proposed but was not taken. Yet, somehow, Uplink has a Lifting Server of its own if I search "Uplink" in the InterNIC DNS Records, tentatively, "Uplink Laboratories Lifting Server."

And just wait a minute, the admin contact is.. :o
(Find out on your own, buds.)
