Post subject:  Best Last Day of 8th Grade I'll Ever Have

Man, was today exciting.

Everything seemed normal on our last day of middle school, until 3rd hour.
About halfway through, the class started smelling something burning, I thought it smelt like burning plastic or rubber or the stuff they spray on lawns. Anyways, Ms. Czarnik (my L.A. teacher) yelled for everyone to get out, and we piled out of the school. It was only our class, which was funny because the other classes are looking at us like: "Huh?".

And then poor Ms. Czarnik (She's old, and recently broke her ankle and will where a band around her ankle for the rest of her life) ran through the Media Center and ordered everyone there was a fire, then ran to the main office.
Here's why, it's the last day of school, obviously if we just pulled the alarm, the office would suspect its a prank.
Then two fire SUVs, two fire trucks, and a police car showed up (mind you, right in front of us, I had a great seat ;)). After 35 minutes, and one time of starting to go back in, only to go back out, we pile back into the school.

Here's the funny part, I was more confused then, the last day of middle school, than I was the first day of 6th grade.

"Return to your 3rd hour!"
"Go to your 4th hour!"
"Go to your 5th hour!"
(After 4th was repeated, we headed to fourth, only to see a group of students say go to fifth).
"Go to your 4th hour, look at my hand!"
Students start arguing with other students and teachers.
"Go to third!"
We go to third, which, because our room was being looked at, we were to go to the media center.
Mr. Loop, the assistant principal walks in and tells us to go to fifth hour when the bell rings.
We head to fifth hour, I'm basically alone, with one or two students behind me, and I head to fifth hour. I look back to see students get directed to fourth hour. I don't even head to fourth, and wait while students argue with that teacher about going to fifth. Then, a bunch of students (most whom are in my fifth hour) show up and tell her we went should go to fifth hour. She says fourth, (we are right next to the main office) the teacher says she is hearing this directly from the office. Finally, after we all start complaining about the mess, some and myself included saying how we should just go home, she says, "Fifth hour everyone!".

We go to fifth, and our day continues.

That, right there, was the most unorganized writing I have ever done. Sorry, but that was too exciting.

So, how was everyone's last day?

With all that confusion you should have just skipped.

So, was there actually a fire?

Well, recently got a call from the principal (recorded of course :P), to sum it up, there was an electrical short in the a/c unit in our room that caused connectors to melt. This caused haze and a terrible smell.

That's what she said, but none of them were actually there. :P

So, it wasn't a fire, at least, none that was visible. It could have turned into one, however.

My last full day of school was just like any other full day of school, minus the seniors. Seniors' last day (not including graduation day) was a week or so before everyone else's.
