I don't know how many people here enjoy cigars, however I am one of them, besides for the occasional hookah, they are my only indulgence in nicotine.

At the low end I enjoy "sweet cigars" such as Honey Dutch, or a flavored Blunt. I simply can't enjoy a cheap cigar flavored cigar.

On the other hand I do enjoy an occasional Montecristo cigar.

I'm not an aficionado, but I enjoy cigars. I am growing bored of Strawberry Blunts and Honey Dutches though anyone have any input on good inexpensive cigars that burn slowly? My biggest complaint with Blunts is that despite their magnificent taste and smell they burn hot and fast and they are thing as anything.

That reminds me, it was awhile after my dad had quit smoking (YaY!), when I see him stepping out of the car with a cigar in his mouth. At that point I didn't know that business people who took a cigar never actually inhaled. I was freaking out and told either my older sister or mom (can't remember which). They explained it to me and everything was okay. :)

EDIT: Btw, who likes my new avatar? :D

I like that avatar, however an addiction to cigarettes is actually an addiction to nicotine, because cigar smoke is more alkaline than cigarette smoke it can be absorbed through the saliva without inhaling. This "nicotine buzz" is enough to rekindle a quitters addiction. My advice if you were hooked on cigarettes smoking an occasional cigar is not a good idea, if you don't smoke cigarettes don't start, but a cigar a month or so isn't going to kill you.

I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to encourage minors to smoke, now are we?

PS. As for myself, I despise cigarettes, cigars, and the like. I've nothing against those who do it, though. Well, as long as I'm not getting second-hand. You can ruin your lungs all you like, just don't ruin mine.

Who's encouraging? He's already doing it so it's not like it had anything to do with us.

Unless you are a former cigarette smoker, cigars tend not to damage your lungs as inhaling hurts, a lot, rather most people "mouth-puff" I actually can't stand cigarettes aside from cloves which taste like Christmas.

Yeah, that one time my Dad came home with a cigar was because he was offered it at some business thing at Ford or something. He's never had a cigar since. (No cigarettes either. :D)

Good for him! Both my girlfriend and mom are trying to quit, I've seen how hard it is.

My dad used the nicotine gum. Plus it's possible that he was guilted/scared out of smoking once we found out my older sister started. (I think she stopped too.)

I have no clue, but there's obviously some sort of relation.

Anyhow, I'm off to break physics. :D

My friend goes to GA Tech and it seems that most of the Asians (i.e. 50% of the school) smoke there as well.
The only Asian I've ever known who's smoked is my roommate though, and he only smokes cigars and very rarely.
