Fair enough but that's still no reason to choose a specific one based on what someone else wants. If you have no religion because none of them make sense to you, you should have no religion.
If some do make sense, but Catholicism doesn't (or indeed if you don't even know much about it as you seem not to), you shouldn't become Catholic.
If Catholicism really does seem like the best possible choice to you then go for it. But you should do it for your own reasons, not because someone else wants you to. Forced religion is worthless.

Rickton: Thank you greatly for offering good advice on this matter, Most of all religon to me makes sense, they all follow my basic rule of "Right from Wrong'.

I guess im at parrel, that if the Catholic chruch will let me come to Mass'es just as an observer. Also if I even have to become Catholic to be able to have a Catholic Wedding for my Fiancee.

Google will tell me the answer. But I like hearing the responses of what I should do by the human race, and hopefuly an opinon of someone that has been in my situation.

1) How do we determine right from wrong?
2) Where did we come from?
3) Where are we going (when we die)?

Don't make the mistake of thinking all religions are the same, though. The answers to these questions vary wildly across religions.

Examine the answers provided by each carefully; check for contradictions between the answers. Find one that answers all three without contradiction, and you've found your religion. :)

My spring break doesn't start until this Friday (March 21) which, incidentally, is my birthday.

My dad flew up here (to Maryland) from California (yesterday)... presumably for my birthday.

It rained today.

I have a shitton of homework due tomorrow. And a second shitton of work over break.

Things are looking good. :D

The thing about Catholicism is that it's pretty different from most types of Christianity. Most types of protestantism are more or less slightly interchangeable, but Catholicism's got a lot more stuff. Just makes sure you know what you're getting into.

Rickton: Thanks, I am going to do just that, will research every aspect of it before i make my choice. I've waited four yrs to marry this women. Plus she still has two years in collage. So I may take my time.

I agree with you Tycho. There is a lot of differences between the concepts of right and wrong in different religions. These questions are answered differently with different beliefs.

cOde.ZRY, if you want to change a religion, you need to have the one that you are comfortable in depending on. You have to be able to believe in the concepts for guidence.

Let me tell everyone here thaT has helped me with this, that I thank you very much. It has helped me with all the suggestions you all have giving. I am just going to take my time, research and then choose which is the best suited for me.
