Well the surgery went as planned, and apparently surgeon did an exceptional job, my flection is 40 degrees where the average person coming off the table has 25 degrees. My biggest complaint is the OxyCodone, I was put on for pain. Although I would not have ever indulged, I did have some curiousity about opiates before the surgery, I no longer have any, at all. I've actually cut my dosage in half and dealed with the pain rather than deal with high doses of Oxy. Basically, they make me tired, depressed and nauses. Often times, I wil feel a large blast of tiredness followed by a series of dream like hallicunations, it almost feels like my dreams are super-imposed over reality. To all you stoners, that may sound awesome, but it's not. As an expiernced pot smoke let me tell you, if you enjoy the high you get off THC opiates are nothing like it at all.The hallicunations are not of a supernatural nature, none of them are particurarly cool either. For instances I've had a conversation with my dad, heard music, cuddled with my girl friend, and when you realize it's not real you come to instantly. I always wake up feeling both refreshed and scared. I think the Onlink Community for any of your prayers and well wishes. |

You had hallucinations? How much were you taking? I've been on Hydrocodone before and all it did is make me tired and make it hard to focus. |

Two 5mg Oxycodones, it only happens when i'm alone and it's late and I'm tired. Its less hallucinations and more super imposing dreams. Unlike pot however they aren't otherworldly. Apparently it's called the nod after talking to some opiate enthusiasts. |

The closest thing I had to hallucinations was really intense pre-dreams as I was falling asleep. But I only took 1 pill at a time, though I think it was 7.5mg. But maybe Oxycodone is different from Hydocodone. |

Like I said it was almost like predreams, they tend to be more intense when I'm tired and near sleep, but I never drift into sleep from them I always flow back into alertness. It is called the nod, I asked the nice folks on bluelight. It is basically dreaming while you are awake. |

I've felt that before, except it wasn't drug-induced. It was sleep deprivation. It's not an uplifting experience. |
