Though I don't think many people here know of E. Gary Gygax or spend an inordinate amount of time with his creation, you all probably have heard of his creation. Gary Gygax, the man regarded as the father of both role-playing games and Dungeons and Dragon, passed away today, March 4, 2008. I wish I had a scroll of True Resurrection, the required material components (diamonds with a total value of 25000 gold and some holy water), and enough ranks in Use Magic Device to cast the spell... May you continue rolling twenties wherever you are, Dungeon Master. -- Griffinhart |

May he rest in piece knowing that people all over the world play the games that he was a founder of. (somewhat on topic:) For those of you that play TT RPG games via Vent or TS and have the issue of distrusting their GM, i'm finishing of a site where you can roll dice ( which isn't that new ) but you can start a gaming session and add the other players in, so you can see what everyone is rolling. We have this problem more then once that the DM gets flamed over by all the other people while he is most likely not lying but just having a lucky streak. Once it's more finished i'll post a link and more info OT again: If you want to know more of him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Gygax He is somewhat a founder of a lot of games, and i think that both uplink and onlink are part of that as it is a Role Playing Game in essence... |
