Today i woke up really wanting to play some cool a) cyberpunk game, b) adventure/rpg games. a+b would be nice.

Have any cool link, cool game, cool idea to share?

Also, i remember finding, a long time ago, some place to download user-made games... mostly games in the style of monkey island, the dig... but after formatting my pc, i lost those few links i had. If anyone would be so nice to share em...

btw, how's 0.1.3 doing?

I'm not sure if they will fit into your categories, but:

Users upload games they make, and people play them.
I found this site when I was looking for Spore-like games, and I found Cytoplasm (which is very addictive).

Anyways, try it out. :D

And yeah, how's 0.1.3 doing? (Just a thought, but it would be really cool to have a dev blog or something that could give us updates on how development is going, but with Tycho and Miah going to school and all, I dunno if they would have the time.)

I like RPGs, but can never find a good one that I won't get bored with after 2-5 hours of playing.

i dont know if rpg is the genre im talking about. im mainly looking for adventure games that aren't all about shooting and killing. not MAINLY, at least. ex, bloodnet... neuromancer, shadowrun (speaking of cp's)

Well, I don't know of any games in the Cyberpunk genre other than Uplink/Onlink that are any good. To be honest, most of them are poorly executed.

But if you're looking for something fresh to try out, I very VERY highly recommend checking out some of the earlier Sierra On-Line games. My top two series recommendations are Quest for Glory and King's Quest. Both are fantastic, though there's a very special place in my heart for the former.

Yeah, i completely agree. Have you read the manual for Cyberpunk 2020?
it would be nice to have a game (with graphs) that implements that stuff...

Very true. I've never met a SCUMM game I didn't like. Haven't really played any of the Sierra games though so I don't know how those are.

I don't have anything cyberpunk, but if you want post-apocalyptic, Fallout-esque, semi-RPG try Caravaneer at http://www.kongregate.com. It uses a combat system similar to Fallout's, and is RPG-like in that your character's skills improve over time as you use them (the more people you shoot, the higher your sniper skill gets; the more you move around in combat, the higher your AP will get), but there's no actual experience/level-up system.
