If by medical use you mean, they use small doses to cure symtoms/illness and its proven that it will not affect you in later life, then yea, it should only be legal for medical use. In order to prevent other people from obtaining the stuff, burn all but some and store the rest in some high security vault. |

You also forgot "yes, but only for industrial use" (hemp is an amazing plant to use for pretty much everything). But I think it's hypocritical for it to be illegal while alcohol and tobacco (which are both worse for you) are legal so I say unequivocally yes. (It's also ridiculous that marijuana is more illegal than cocaine, but that's not really a reason to legalize it per se.) |

In your silly country. In Britain, Cocaine is a class A drug (worst kind), Cannabis is only class C.

It's legal in The Netherlands, so you know where I'll be if I would do drugs. |

Actually it lowers blood pressure hence its use in glaucoma. AIDs and cancer patients can have it prescribed to stimulate appetite. Also, why shouldn't it be legal if alcohol is? Finally Tycho there was no need to add it's a loaded question to the poll you could have just as easily abstained. |

And you think it doesn't do that? There are so-called "cannabinoid receptors" in the brain that correspond to areas that control the regulation of chemicals that block pain. |
