Everything you need to unlock the cheat menu is on the Onlink Credits Machine.

(Although, to know what to do with what's on the Onlink Credits Machine, you'll need to pay a visit to the Protovision Game Server.)

(At least, I think it's the Protovision Game Server. I may have it wrong.)

Which is kind of sad, from my point of view. I mean, the cheat menu is ostensibly the easiest of Onlink's secrets to uncover (you're practically given it).

OTOH, the others are a bit harder (at least for me - mainly because I'm lazy and haven't actually uncovered any other actual secrets, except for the ones that were already in Uplink vanilla and the aforementioned cheat menu).

The 'Uplink Laboratories' systems have an admin, but the Uplink International Bank can't be hacked (I believe) without hacking the game itself. That can be done, but there's only your account on the Uplink bank anyway so no real point to it.

As for the Uplink Laboratories systems, well, Miah's not the only one who's contributed to this great mod. That's your hint.

^ I'm not completely sure, but AFAIK they're supposed to be unhackable. And even if they aren't, you probably won't find anything interesting there anyway :\

Yep, they're both unhackable. Having said that, I've been in both just now and can confirm there's nothing of interest in there in this build. I imagine Miah's got plans for them later.

So I finally got Denial. How does it work and what does it do, exactly? I'm guessing one has to upload the program to other servers and then run it locally, type in an IP, and watch as the target IP address gets nuked by a DDOS attack?

(If I'm right, will the resulting effect on the target IP address be sufficient to complete those lovely "destroy computer system" missions?)

You run (see below) it on 20 ISM's, run it on your Gateway and input the IP address of an ISM which is not any of those "infected" systems, then click "go" and try to connect to that ISM.

To run it on an ISM, first copy it there, open the console and type "cd usr" -> "run denial" -> "shutdown". If done correctly, the locally running Denial should say something like "1 clients online". Just keep doing it until it says 20 clients online.

ATM (at least) it's quite useless, since the infected systems are cleaned after it has been run.

Oh, and when you have 20 clients online, I highly recommend you save your profile in case you screw something up :P
